Awaiting Arrival

of the new Delorme PN-20 handheld GPS navigational device. I have played with various tools for GPS and one thing is clear: they all do things well in some areas but usually nothing of value across all areas of onces needs in GPS. I am hoping the PN-20 does me good.

It was a struggle to buy a Delorme product as knowing that their road maps in Street Atlas were SERIOUSLY outdated. The ideal that a google or Yahoo could be doing a better job than them in the real of mapmaking was just not impressive at all. I am in the strong hopes they come through this time with a qualit tool thats let me do what I want to. More on that here.

I am encouraging anyone to post comments to the rides and run locations i have mapped out on kicksandcranks.com. I am asking for anything from known issues (dogs, rednecks with guns, known insitutes of ill repute, etc. to step forward and warn the users.

In addition, positive things and those that one would be most interested in knowing and would ENCOURAGE cyclists are preferred...
